Melissa Kameme

I spend an alarming amount of time noticing why some brands feel instantly recognisable while others disappear into the internet void almost immediately.

Somewhere between creative direction, internet culture, and chronic brand analysis is where The MAK Edit ended up.

Melissa Kameme, The MAK Edit

A polished feed means nothing if nobody remembers who posted it.

I’m interested in the stuff underneath the content:

  • perception

  • recognition

  • visual consistency

  • brand worlds

  • why certain businesses feel established before you even read a caption

Cute content is everywhere. Recognition is what's missing.

Recognition is designed.
Not hoped for.

A lot of the brands I work with are already good at what they do.
Their online presence is usually the part underselling them.

I help brands build stronger online presence with more recognition, consistency, and direction.

Less chasing attention.
More creating something people will remember.

Looking established online is a skill in itself.

Before The MAK Edit, I spent over five years running my own aesthetics and wellness clinic (which means I understand the chaotic founder-brain).

The constant switching between:

  • business owner

  • marketer

  • creative director

  • admin person

  • emotional support department

…all before midday.

Which is probably why I care less about “perfect” branding and more about creating work that actually feels connected to the person behind the business.

If your online presence is currently underselling the business behind it, let’s fix that.
